新興印刷集團行政總裁暨執行董事陳志堅先生曾在採訪中談及：“綠色包裝之印刷是印刷業的未來發展方向”。綠色包裝印刷，強調的標準是“循環回收，再生利用，減少廢棄物”。未來日益普遍的趨勢是綠色包裝，也稱生態包裝或是環保包裝，將更多的綠色印刷原材料應用在包裝印刷業中，包括: 低揮發性有機化學墨水（簡稱Low VOC）、再造列印墨水匣、節能設備……等，目的是為了節約能源及保護環境。
隨著歐盟發佈“限塑令”的法案，強制性規定減少使用塑膠製品，減少白色污染。此令一出，得到很多大型的連鎖餐飲企業的回應。與此同時，新興印刷作為包裝印刷企業先鋒，多年來一直重視提高包裝環保性能；開發節能、低耗、無毒、無污染、重環保使用、易溶解、無公害的包裝印刷工藝和材料，並致力於實行環境保護。
